Hands Off! SLink vs. Maitreya

 

When I first got the AvEnhnace Dynamic update I was first thrilled that my elegant SLink hands finally would be back on my wrists in bento form, but the reality turned out quite differently. As I attached the hands I saw that gone were the elegant shape and the slender fingers. In their place was something that was everything but elegant. The fingers look too long and disproportionate and the hand seem to lack knuckles!? To put it in short: I felt my heart sink. I had looked forward to this since bento went live. I actually thought those first glimpses of a bento hand way back was from Slink, until I learned that it was from Vista.
Anyway, I decided after the initial shock, that I would wear my new Dynamic Hands for a few days to see if they grew on me. Also, Alicia Chenaux was sporting them on her You Tube channel and if they were good enough for her why weren’t they for me? (At least I think they were the Dynamic AvEnhance hands! Please correct me if I am wrong!)
Well, they are nice no doubt, the things I have mentioned are things I don’t like about them, but they work and they move, just not as good as others. They don’t look natural to me, and I am hoping for an update to fix these issues!

I lasted about a day and a half with the Dynamics before I went back to Vista, my all time favourites. Then I dared to look in Maitreya’s direction, hoping for a miracle from them. And today I got my answer, and it came from above with angles singing and a saintly glow with the V4.0 update, Mesh Body Addicts got more about it.
I never was a fan of the original Maitreya hands. I tried to wear them when I switched bodies from Physique to Lara, but I didn’t last long, a week at most. The bento version on the other hand, (ha ha, see what I did there!) Is awesome! The Maitreya hands have the defined, slender shape of the Vista Pro Hands and the option for the to-die-for almond shaped nails of the TuTy Bento Hands System. They move very naturally and they might be my new go to hands. I am not sure yet, but I’ll wear them for a few days to see how they feel.

I used Vista’s animations to show how the Slink and Maitreya hands behave. The hands marked “S” is obviously SLink and those with “M” are Maitreya. As you see the SLink hands doesn’t look bad at all, just not my cup of tea.

I was gifted the TuTy Bento Hnads System before I could save up or decide to buy them for my self. Check out this link to my post: Vista vs Tuty’s bento mesh hands to learn more abut them. As with the other hands I wore them around for a few days, but they ultimately turned out to slim for my taste. They might be a better fit for an avatar with a more petite and less curvy shape than me. They move very well however and I am so, so grateful that I now own them! I contemplated wearing them for the sake of the almond nail shape alone, hehe. I love it. Thank you!
